漏洞简介

Xen是英国剑桥大学开发的一款开源的虚拟机监视器产品。该产品能够使不同和不兼容的操作系统运行在同一台计算机上，并支持在运行时进行迁移，保证正常运行并且避免宕机。

基于Linux kernel 2.6.18也可能是其他版本的Xen 3.4.0之前版本中(1)drivers/xen/blkback/blkback.c文件，以及(2)drivers/xen/blktap/blktap.c文件中的do_block_io_op函数中存在输入验证漏洞。访客OS用户可以借助对blkback或者blktap后端驱动的超大作业请求索引导致拒绝服务(死循环及CPU消耗)。
